Addplate™ and NiPlate™ 300
A LOW PHOSPHOROUS, HIGH HARDNESS, ENGINEERING ELECTROLESS NICKEL PLATING PROCESS
The 300 system is an economical low phosphorous electroless nickel process designed to deposit a uniform, nickel-phosphorous alloy onto a great variety of metals, alloys, and non-conductors.
The 300 system is available in two packaging options to best meet your needs. The NiPLATE™ option provides the greatest convenience to the user, while the ADDPLATE option provides the greatest economy for shipping and use. Both options produce the same properties and quality.
- The NiPLATE™ 300 option is supplied in three liquid concentrates: NiPLATE™ 300 A and 300 B are used for make-up, and NiPLATE 300 A and 300 C are used for replenishment.
- The ADDPLATE™ 300 option is supplied in two liquid concentrates: ADDPLATE™ 300 M is used for bath make up with standard nickel sulfate and sodium hypophosphite commodities, and ADDPLATE™ 300 R is used for replenishment of the bath with the same standard nickel sulfate and sodium hypophosphite commodities.
Some advantages of the 300 system are:
- High as-plated hardness
- Corrosion resistance in caustic environments
- Lower electrical resistivity
- Solderability without the use of high acid fluxes
- Excellent stability and bath life
- Bath operation at lower temperatures
The 300 system electroless nickel processes meet or exceed MIL-C-26074D and AMS 2404C.
